Chen Mu Sheng graduated from the Master's program in Directing at the Department of Film Creation, Taipei National University of the Arts. His work has been nominated at various international film festivals such as Taipei Film Festival, Kaohsiung Film Festival, Golden Harvest Awards, Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. He was awarded Best Cinematography at the Golden Harvest Awards in 2022 for the short film "Her and I". He is also a graduate of the Taipei Golden Horse Film Academy in 2022.
